Communicating via blog

This class was really interesting to me. Especaially, with the class activities and blog assignment. It was very very helpful to me. English is my second language and often time i am quite in class because i am scared of making mistakes. However, the blog assignment atleast made me write to some extent and gave me an opportunity to share my thaughts and idea with other class mates. I really appreciate the effort that the professor put in making the class interesting. The block assignment, protecting egg and even the one and two way communication assignment. I did not comment a lot of blog but by commenting other people blogs often made me think. I realized that I viewed and thought stuffs in my culture very narrow. Other people's blog made me think broad. The Global way. There are times in a diverse learning environment we cannot express certain things. Because, the way i think might seem akward to others and this prevented me to express my thoughts. But, blog has made that easy. To be honest, blog has now became a mode of communication. I will definately post some interesting things and topics that i will find in my life. Especially, professor's blog will be viewed often.
Thank you professor for all the effort you put in making this class interesting.
I really enjoyed the class.

Hi, I'm glad that you enjoyed the bloggin process and got something useful out of it. Its good that it gets you thinkin- it definetly got me thinking b/c I think it's important to provide useful comments to the reader. It's only with comments that it becomes effective communication; otherwise, it would just be a diary that noone else would read. Althought it may seem tedious to some people to have to blog on other people's site, I think that it's good- it gives people a reason to write meaningful blogs so that they would attract bloggers. And it's great that the professor also visits students' blogs; I'm not sure if he ever visisted mine, but I saw his comments on other's blogs.

I do not think you give yourself enough credit. I have had many conversations with you and definitely enough to determine that english is no longer your second language. You speak very well and affluent, and I think you need to add that to your confidence because you have earned it. Do not worry of making mistakes when you speak, because first off, I barely detect any when I listen to you. Secondly, no one is going to hold it against you, especially at Baruch, where I and I am sure many others, have the understanding that most of the students come from other countries originally. Being quiet can only hold you back, so if I could leave one piece of advice with you, it is to keep speaking with people, because I find it can only open more opportunities for you.

Also, do not get discouraged if you do make mistakes. You can only learn from them. I would also personally like to see you hold some position with the Accounting Society for the next term, and I think the way to achieve it is for you to keep speaking with people and drop your inhibitions. You have every reason to be confident. You have already accomplished a lot, and I hold a great amount of respect for you for the tremendous amount of effort I am sure you had to put in to get this far.
